I have purchased the keyboard so I can use it in other apps, and it makes no freaking typewriter sound at all (yeah, I have checked the volume). Fix it NOW.

Love to write all my notes in it, you guys did an awesome work for sure. But pleease, add support to latin alphabet so we can use it properly. Id suggest a web version, also, so we can share and write everywhere. Congratz!

Cannot type diacritics (á, à, ç, è, etc.). Poor flexibility!

I speak and write in Portuguese. So, diacritics is essential. By the way, I miss a version for MAC OS X. It would be interesting type on my MacBook.

The app is great, beautiful and all, but man how it crashes. I was using it for serious writing, but it always crashes after more or less one page of writing. Whilee it has a good auto save memory, you end up losing the last two or three sentences, and have to write it again. It may not seem much, but, given that it ALWAYS crashes, it gets really annoying and frightening when it happens for the 3th time in a row and you have to remember the last sentences to write it again. It loses its greatest power - its imersiviness, and it impossibilitates you of getting some serious writing done. When this is fixed the app will be simply perfect.

Hello! Fantastic App, just a detail. When disabled the modern return, please do not automatically load the X, so I can generate the necessary accents to my language (Portuguese Brazil).

This app is amazing, but unfortunately, since Ive up date my Ipad Air 2 to IOS 9 it doesnt work anymore.

Not useful without support for German Keyboard, with äüöß, z<->y etc. Could be Five Stars otherwise.

only available in English. No support for german "Umlaute" ä, ö, ü and the "ß". Otherwise I would by the keyboard app and give five stars.

For boomers who learned to think and write on a manual typewriter, this is a nice bit of nostalgia. I write on my iPad mini with HanxWriter, and I have to say, I get a soothing feeling watching the carriage go back and forth while I write. It works very well - kind of disconcerting that there is no "save" option (because its automatic) but other than that. I like it! I can imagine that those who never had the opportunity to experience the tactile joy of a manual typewriter - or are of such limited attention span that learning a new "old" way to create is just too much - would not enjoy this fine app. Mores the pity. Bravo, Hanx. Keep the innovations coming.

offers only a QWERTY keyboard. As another user commented, why offer this app in the german App Store if you dont intend to provide a german keyboard layout?

Hello Hanx, why only english keyboard layout? Cant realy work with this when writing german... Also the keyboard response iss in fact even much worse then with the original iOS software Keyboard! Hoping for some updates! Kind Regards *Getippt in "Hanx writer*...

please help and bring out an update, which works well under ios9!

Thanks to the developer for listening,to the incompatibility of this app with iOS 9 ,and promptly fix the bugs.The retro writer is here to stay.Keep it up with the good work.
