It is a fantastic app, I like it very much! But could you please improve it by making it possible to blend out the top line in the writer window? My window on the iPad mini is a little bit small. By blending out this line on the top it would become a little greater.

A Lovely App, Remonds to the old days, when I Worte my theses, getting mad about typos... Now it is so easy and Retro-sytlish. Will Write all my Christmas greetings with Hanx, thank, Cheers,hjj

Now if only the onscreen keyboard would disappear when I do so.

Clever little writing app, wish it could be used directly for email or other writing needs. Maybe down the road?

Not sure why everyone is having difficulty with Bluetooth keyboard and the sounds...my BT keyboard makes all the same sounds as the Hanx writer keyboard. Make sure the sounds are on in the app settings. However, before the update to ios 8, the Hanx writer keyboard would disappear when my bluetooth was connected. This was great because I felt like I was really typing on an authentic typewriter. I miss being able to do that. Bit silly using my bluetooth while the screen is still filled with the app keyboard. Please fix it! Not using the app as much as I would like because of that - neither am I recommending it to friends.

This app made me smile. My kids dont even know what a typewriter is...and it cracked me up. Thanks for this little bit of a walk down memory lane!!

I love this app. i have the best of both worlds, typewriter and computer. Plus no more whiteout for those mistakes, or back spacing. T"Hanx" you!

I miss when I used to type on a real typewriter and had to be careful not to type too fast, otherwise the arms would jam up together and Id have to manually pull them apart. Where is the realism? Where is the frustration? Just kidding, I think this app is great fun and Im quite glad it doesnt jam up like a real one might. Great free download for writers looking to add that sense of creativity to their work

Fabulous typing app. Printed reports give the appearance of having been typed old-school style. Very cool. More vintage typewriters & better viewing & editing options in-app would be nice. A key-per!

I did not like it because you have to pay to write more documents. And you cannot use it in other apps I even checked on my settings! It did not work!!! This app needs a update or something?!

Hanx Writer is a great tool because I like the independence of doing the shifting and capitalization by myself. Plus, the sounds are pretty neat. One thing I would like is an option to put it on your Camera Roll.

This app is fun to use , as it reminds me of high school days of way back! Thanks to me watching David Letterman last night to find out about it. Thanks to both for bringing it to my attention!

My wife and I saw Mr. Hanks on Letterman and thought we would check out what he was pitching. Gotta say, I am glad we did. This app is great and has brought back memories of sitting next to Nancy McDonald in typing class. Thank you Mr. Hanks

I love this app. I would give it 5 stars except it seems to be a bit buggy when recognizing my bluetooth keyboard.
